Depending on the detail and quality you're looking for there are a couple of options.

A. Can have as few as 300 pieces made in China.
Die charge is $200. Finish is slightly lower quality than B.
Finish can be nickel, copper or brass plate and either
shiny or antique, multiple plating combinations and
enamel colors are also available.
Turnaround time is 30 to 45 days.

B. 3,000 piece minimum made in Taiwan.
Die charge is $600. Finish and detail is the finest.
Finish could be sterling, copper or gold plate
and either shiny or antique. Enamel colors also available.
Turnaround time is 45 to 60 days.

Once you pay for a steel die, that die can produce tens of thousands of impressions.
Also, that die is reserved exclusively for you.
